Project Entropy's Steam minimum is light: a 4 GB RAM floor and 8 GB of storage, among the lowest figures GamiPrime tracks across 13 free PC games. The recommended tier is the thin part. Steam's recommended column gives one sentence, "Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system," with no separate CPU, RAM, GPU or storage line. That is not just a short recommended tier; it is one of two listings in GamiPrime's cluster (with MU: Dark Epoch) with no figures in it at all. Specs below are from the Steam store page as read October 16, 2026 (UTC). Not benchmarked.

Project Entropy system requirements on Steam: minimum and recommended

The minimum column has every line filled in. The recommended column has one sentence and nothing else.

Line Minimum Recommended
OS Windows 7 SP1 or better (64-bit required) 64-bit required
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 or AMD Athlon x64 4000+ (~2.2 GHz) Not listed
Memory 4 GB RAM Not listed
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or Radeon HD 4400 or better Not listed
DirectX Version 10 Not listed
Network Broadband Internet connection Not listed
Storage 8 GB available space Not listed

A footnote on the listing itself says Steam's own client has only supported Windows 10 and later since January 1, 2024, which makes the Windows 7-era minimum OS line largely historical rather than a current support statement. The listed minimum CPU (a Core 2 Duo-class chip from the late 2000s) and GPU (a GTX 460-class card from 2010) both predate the game's own Steam release of April 16, 2024 by well over a decade. That is a floor, not a promise: nothing here says the game runs well on that hardware, only that Steam lists it as supported.

What the numbers imply

Project Entropy and MU: Dark Epoch are the only two of the 13 free PC games in GamiPrime's cluster with no recommended-tier figures at all. Marvel Rivals, Zenless Zone Zero, NTE, Wuthering Waves, Where Winds Meet, Arena Breakout: Infinite, Delta Force, RAID: Shadow Legends, STALZONE and War Thunder each list a full or near-full recommended row. Infinity Kingdom leaves CPU and GPU blank but still gives a RAM and storage figure. Project Entropy and MU: Dark Epoch leave all four blank. We report that gap rather than filling it in: if Steam has not published a recommended spec, GamiPrime does not estimate one.

Minimum RAM in GamiPrime's 13-game cluster Games listing it
1 GB MU: Dark Epoch
2 GB Infinity Kingdom
4 GB Project Entropy, STALZONE, War Thunder
8 GB Delta Force, RAID: Shadow Legends, Zenless Zone Zero
12 GB Arena Breakout: Infinite
16 GB NTE, Marvel Rivals, Wuthering Waves, Where Winds Meet

On RAM, Project Entropy's minimum ties for one of the lightest floors in the set. Its 4 GB figure matches War Thunder and STALZONE, ahead only of Infinity Kingdom (2 GB) and MU: Dark Epoch (1 GB). Eight of the 13 games in the comparison ask for 8 GB of RAM or less at minimum. A PC built around 4 GB clears Project Entropy's listed floor with nothing to spare.

On storage, 8 GB sits near the bottom of the set but is not the smallest. RAID: Shadow Legends lists 5 GB, Infinity Kingdom 2 GB, and MU: Dark Epoch 800 MB, all lighter than Project Entropy's 8 GB. The largest listings in the same comparison run to 110-150 GB (NTE, Where Winds Meet, Wuthering Waves), so Project Entropy sits closer to the smallest end than the largest by a wide margin. See the full 13-game requirements comparison for the complete table and how storage and RAM floors line up across the cluster.

Check your PC first

  1. CPU and GPU. Press Windows + R, type dxdiag, and read the Processor line on the System tab and the chip name under Display. Compare against the Core 2 Duo E6400 / Athlon x64 4000+ class CPU and GTX 460 / Radeon HD 4400 class GPU listed as the minimum.
  2. RAM. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), go to the Performance tab, and read the total memory. The listed minimum is 4 GB.
  3. Free storage. Open Settings, System, Storage, and confirm the drive you will use has at least 8 GB free. That is the listed minimum, not a margin for updates.

Bottom line

Project Entropy's listed minimum is easy to clear on almost any PC built in the last decade: 4 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. What the listing will not tell you is how it performs above that floor, because Steam has not published a recommended spec for this game, only a one-line 64-bit requirement. Not benchmarked.

Frequently asked questions

How many GB is Project Entropy?

8 GB at the minimum tier, per the Steam listing re-read November 4, 2026. Steam gives no recommended storage figure, and GamiPrime does not estimate one.

What are the minimum system requirements for Project Entropy on PC?

Steam lists Windows 7 SP1 or better (64-bit required), an Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 or AMD Athlon x64 4000+, 4 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or Radeon HD 4400 or better, DirectX version 10 and 8 GB of available storage, read October 16, 2026 (UTC).

Only partly. Steam's recommended column gives a single line, "Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system," with no separate CPU, RAM, GPU or storage figure. GamiPrime does not estimate the missing figures.

How does Project Entropy's spec floor compare to other free PC games?

Its 4 GB RAM minimum ties with War Thunder and STALZONE for one of the lightest floors in GamiPrime's original 13-game comparison (read October 4, 2026), and its 8 GB storage minimum is near the lightest end of the same set, behind only RAID: Shadow Legends, Infinity Kingdom and MU: Dark Epoch. The full table is in GamiPrime's requirements comparison, linked above.
