What we do

We help PC players decide what to install, what it asks of their PC and what to expect before they spend. We cover five things: news about launches and platform changes, genre maps of free games, guides to how free games work, reception reports built from Steam player reviews, and official system requirements compared side by side.

What makes it different

  • Every number has a source and a date. Steam data is read on a stated day, and the day is printed on the page.
  • We do not invent tests. No benchmarks, play hours or scores that did not happen. When we have not tested something, the article says so.
  • We show the sample. A rating without its review count and language split is not a rating, so we print both.
  • We separate confirmed from unconfirmed. News pages list what is confirmed and what no source has announced.

How the site is funded

GamiPrime may earn money from affiliate links and, later, from advertising. Money never changes a rating: ratings come from Steam's own data. Our affiliate disclosure says exactly when links are affiliate links.

How to read it

Each topic has one main guide, called a pillar, and shorter articles that go deeper on one question. Start with the pillar. The editorial policy explains our sourcing rules, how bylines work and how we handle corrections.
