Steam's NTE: Neverness to Everness system requirements, read on November 4, 2026, ask for 110 GB of available space on both the minimum and the recommended tier. Nine other pages, all reopened the same day, give between 40 and 90 GB for the game itself, and none of them mentions 110. GamiPrime ran no test and measured no file size. What follows is what published pages say, and on which date.
How many GB is NTE? What Steam says, and what nine pages say
110 GB of available space, according to NTE's official Steam listing as read on November 4, 2026. The minimum and recommended tiers carry the same line. It is the only official storage figure we read for the game.
| Page | Date shown | PC storage, as written |
|---|---|---|
| NTE's official Steam listing | Read November 4, 2026 | 110 GB available space (minimum and recommended) |
| Icy Veins | March 25, 2026 | 45 GB, plus 45 GB reserved for decompression; 45 GB SSD at recommended |
| Gfinity Esports | April 27, 2026 | 60 GB SSD at both tiers |
| allthings.how | Updated April 30, 2026 | 60 GB, plus 60 GB temporary; "roughly 120GB" of total free space |
| TechWiser | Published May 2, 2026 | 60 GB (SSD recommended) at minimum; 60 GB SSD at recommended |
| PC Game Check | Updated May 2026 | 60 GB |
| Kaiden | Published and updated July 8, 2026 | 70 GB available space, listed for Steam at both tiers |
| GameWith | September 2, 2026 | 60 GB or more, plus 60 GB required during unpacking |
| NTE Guide | Historical specs reviewed September 29, 2026 | 90 GB NVMe SSD in the table and the FAQ; about 40 GB in the text |
| Vandal | No date shown | 60 GB |
Five of the nine pages are dated before Steam's July 7, 2026 release date for the game. Three are dated after it: Kaiden (July 8), GameWith and NTE Guide. Kaiden attributes 70 GB to Steam's requirements one day after release; GameWith and NTE Guide do not match 110 GB either. Vandal shows no date. None of the nine mentions 110 GB.
GamiPrime's reading: the dates do not settle the gap. Kaiden's 70 GB, attributed to Steam on July 8, could mean the listing changed later or that the page differs from the listing; we captured no earlier version of the listing, so we claim neither. NTE Guide also contradicts itself, with 90 GB in its table and about 40 GB in its text.
The jump to 110 GB is not explained anywhere we read
No page in the table says why Steam's figure is higher, and Steam does not say either. The 37 posts on the game's Steam news feed, dated May 23 to October 31, 2026, contain no storage figure and no patch size.
Do not read 110 GB as 60 GB plus temporary space. 60 plus 60 is 120, not 110, and the Steam line does not say what it includes. Here is what is unknown, as of November 4, 2026:
- Whether the 110 GB includes temporary space used while files are unpacked or updated.
- Whether an SSD is required. The Steam listing does not mention one.
- The first-time size of the game on Steam, and the size of the version 1.4 and 1.5 updates.
- Why the listing asks for 110 GB.
NTE system requirements on Steam, minimum and recommended side by side
Steam's listing, read November 4, 2026, asks for 16 GB of RAM at minimum and 32 GB at recommended, with 110 GB of storage at both. Both tiers open with the line "Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system".
| Line | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 64-bit | Windows 10 64-bit or above |
| CPU | Intel Core i7-10700 (10th Gen) / Snapdragon X | Intel Core i7-12700 (12th Gen) / Snapdragon X2 Elite |
| RAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 / AMD Radeon RX 5600 / Qualcomm Adreno X1 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 / AMD Radeon RX 6700 / Qualcomm Adreno X2 |
| DirectX | Version 11 | Version 12 |
| Network | Broadband Internet connection | Broadband Internet connection |
| Storage | 110 GB available space | 110 GB available space |
That is a floor, not a promise. Not benchmarked.
Check your PC first
Two checks in Windows show where your PC stands against the listed floor. The paths come from Microsoft Support's "Find information about your Windows device" page.
- Free space. Settings, System, Storage: look at the free space on the drive you will use, and compare it with 110 GB. With several drives, Advanced storage settings, then Storage used on other drives, lists the rest.
- RAM and processor. Settings, System, About, under Device specifications: total RAM against 16 GB at minimum and 32 GB at recommended, and the processor against the listed Intel Core or Snapdragon lines.
That Microsoft page does not cover the graphics card, so GamiPrime gives no path for it. Compare the card name with the GTX 1660 / RX 5600 class at minimum or the RTX 3060 / RX 6700 class at recommended.
The listing states no margin for updates. Version 1.5 is announced, with a preview program on October 28, 2026. The official Steam post we read gives no go-live date; a PlayGround.ru item in the same Steam news feed, dated October 28, 2026, says November 11, 2026. The figure can change.
What to plan for, by situation
The listing sets floors, and no page we read measured what happens below them.
- Less than 110 GB free: Steam's listing asks for 110 GB at both tiers; no page we read gives a measured first-time size.
- 8 GB of RAM: half the listed minimum of 16 GB. Nothing we read reports what happens below that floor.
- A GPU older than a GTX 1660: the minimum names the GTX 1660, RX 5600 and Adreno X1; no test of older cards turned up.
