The Epic Games Store listing, read on November 4, 2026, asks for 110 GB of free storage at the minimum tier and 150 GB at the recommended tier. HoYoverse's own support article, last updated July 22, 2026, lists 110 GB for both. Both pages are official, both were readable the same day, and neither one explains the 40 GB gap. There is no Steam page to settle it. No benchmark and no measurement of the game's size on disk stand behind this page: it reads published pages and gives the date each was read.
Genshin Impact system requirements: Epic Games Store and HoYoverse support side by side
The two official pages give the same hardware lines and the same 110 GB minimum. They differ on recommended storage (150 GB against 110 GB) and on integrated graphics, which only the support article lists.

Where to read the official requirements when there is no Steam page
Genshin Impact has no Steam page, so its official PC requirements are on the Epic Games Store listing and in HoYoverse's help center.
A search of the Steam store's US catalog for "genshin" returned no results on November 4, 2026. GamiPrime checked the US store only, and no announcement about a Steam release was read. The game is offered on PC through HoYoverse's launcher, HoYoPlay, and through the Epic Games Store, where it is listed as free.
The Epic Games Store shows one set of requirements, for Windows. The support article lists PC, Android, iOS and iPadOS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and no macOS. "Listed" is the right word for both: a requirement page says what the publisher asks for, not what a system can do.

How many GB is Genshin Impact on PC? Every storage figure, by date
Only two official storage figures were readable on November 4, 2026. Every other figure we read is a third-party reference with its own date, and several are older than the game's current requirements.

GamiPrime's reading: the Epic Games Store minimum moved from 100 GB (December 2024, per Charlie INTEL) to 110 GB (November 4, 2026), and the date of that change is unknown. The recommended gap between the Epic Games Store and HoYoverse support is still open, and neither page says why. If free space is tight, planning around 150 GB is the cautious choice; it is a planning margin, not a measured size. GamiPrime has no measurement of the game's size on disk or of frame rates.
Did 7.0 change anything? What HoYoverse left for later
According to third-party copies and reports, HoYoverse announced higher device requirements in August 2025 and previewed version 7.0 in July 2026. Neither, as reported, gave a new PC storage figure.
In August 2025, copies of HoYoverse's notice on Traveler.gg and Sportskeeda (both August 6, 2025) say requirements would rise from the "Song of the Welkin Moon" update, with storage "pending". On July 9, 2026, GosuGamers and Noisy Pixel reported the 7.0 preview with PC specifications unchanged. Only GosuGamers adds that storage requirements for 7.0 will be announced at a later date; Noisy Pixel does not mention storage. The official pages were not readable without JavaScript, so none of this was read at the source. As of November 4, 2026, the Epic Games Store listing reads: "Version 7.2 'Hour of Ruin' is now available!" No page we read says whether storage changed since, and the 110 GB and 150 GB figures above are simply what the two official pages show today.
Check your PC first
Three checks answer most of the question without any benchmark.
- RAM. Settings, System, About, under Device specifications. Both official pages list 8 GB as the minimum and 16 GB as recommended.
- Free space. Settings, System, Storage, then look at the drive you plan to use. The minimum is 110 GB on both pages; the recommended figure is 150 GB or 110 GB depending on the page. The support article recommends a solid-state drive. That is a recommendation, not a stated requirement.
- Graphics. Look up your graphics card model and compare it with the table. A GeForce GTX 1050 class card is the listed minimum on both pages, and a GTX 1060 6GB class card is the recommended one. If you have only integrated graphics, the support article names Intel Iris Xe or equivalent; the Epic Games Store listing does not mention integrated graphics.
Bottom line by situation
- Free space between 110 GB and 150 GB: both pages say you meet the minimum. Only the Epic Games Store lists 150 GB as recommended, so only that page would put you below it. The support article lists 110 GB or more for both tiers.
- Integrated graphics only: Intel Iris Xe is the one integrated chip either page names, and only the support article names it. No frame-rate measurement was read, so the listing is all there is to go on. That is a floor, not a promise.
